band! i think you all know what im going to talk about.
first thing : ATTIRE
how many times do you want the welfare to repeat about this?
isit so hard to just clip up your fringe and tuck in your shirt?
second thing : the band's pace
i shall make it very simple
the faster you move, the faster you all can improve and play beautiful music :)
third thing : SLACK
try to think why you join band in the first place
isit because you are really interested to play an instrument and to play music?
if yes, then you musn't start slacking
think about the audience who are going to listen to it
they wouldnt want a lousy performance from us right?
i need all the SLs and the ASls to help with this stuff
i cannot be going to every section and correct each individual's mistake
and SLs, please remember that this year is the SLs year.
we expect more from you from now on.
thats all that i have got to say.
and i hope that after this,the members can cooperate with the leaders and your SLs.
please give us more respect.

HELLOOO damaiwindz.:)
i know this is going to be a long post. we did learn quite a lot from this exchange as well had lots of fun so, time for reflections!
SEC ONES! you all did your best:) continue to work hard and you'll soon be able to play beautiful music..
and people! please take care of your health ok..
some of you fell sick during the exchange.. so please please. take care, drink more water. and rest. every single band member is important to the band

attaining gold is not easy and success doesn't come to you by itself. but with perseverance and determination, nothing is impossible. if you wanna be a better player & GOLD for SYF...

HELLO... band members , you still left one more practice which is tomorrow for the exchange.. 5/6/08 - 8am-12am report 15mins earlier so yea..work hard and make a good performance of course we understand sometimes we're naggy but why don't you put in more efforts so that you will not regret.? as for the songs we are presening are .. 1) variants on a shaped note tune 2)blue ridge saga so .. gotta work hard on it ..
in addition, as for the exchange .6 june 08 report at .. 7.00am without 15mins earlier.
so prepare yourself well ,have fun on the journey and enjoy learning ok.. hahas.and for those ppl who haven't pay for the food. Give us latest by tmr..or no food provided :)

for those who brought home their instuments, please practise and i mean it
PLEASE PRACTICE if not you brought home your instuments just to collect dust and pretend that its not there.
and i would like to remind you all that next year is already SYF.
although it may seem ten more months, but
time will fly very fast.
im saying this not to stress you, but just to remind you to not start slacking, and start working hard on playing beautiful music~
we shall help each other and get the very first gold medal for damai windz ohkay!

reminder for the kentridge band exchange Attire: Full school uniform ( collar pin + tie) You do not have to report 15mins earlier on the day of the band exchange, but for heads and leaders you have to report 30mins earlier (which is 6.30am) ..... while for all the other band practices, you'll have to. Also, dun forget about the practice on thursday from 8-12pm. :)
