Food would be catered by the school for those who would be performing on 2nd August. For those sec.1s who are not performing, please have a heavy lunch before reporting @3pm.
Also, note that there is a change in the attire that you would be reporting in on 2nd August.

Hello.
1)For those sec.1s who are performing, you do not have to stay for the longer practice this Friday. The consent forms regarding this would be issued to you all soon.
2) On the 2nd of august,
report in your full band uniform. (for the girls who are uncomfortable in your stockings and court shoes, you can come in your school shoe and change after that).
3)Theres a change in the reporting time for those sec.1s who would not be performing, you have to report at 3pm, in your
full school uniform instead of 1pm stated on the consent form for 2nd august.

The tags in the tagboard regarding the sec.1s who would not be performing and so on about it, has been removed.
To the junior who voiced out at the tagboard, perhaps it was rather harsh, but please donot get us wrong, you are not performing on 2nd august, because you are not experienced enough and not because you are no good in your playing. Also, I would like to tell the sec.1s that i sincerly appreciate the hardwork that you have put in for the audition. You can ask any seniors, and they will definitely tell you that for every year the sec.1s would not be inccluded in performance because they are not experienced enough. It has been like this all the time, sec.1s would perform with the band normally after the end-of-year-exams. The reason why you would be standing aside and watch the band perform is because we want you to gain the experience of how its like to be performing..... lastly, why would we want to make this hard for you sec.1s? You are the future of the band and whats the point of making life hard for you? You are all equally important.
I hope that i made my point clear through this post... and i really seek your understanding sec.1s....

For tomorrow, for those who would be wearing the ethnic costumes, you can wear the PE attire, but for the rest who would be wearing the school uniform, you would still have to come in correct attire....

i know we have been asking you guys to pack files for almost every sectional day, im here to tell you to be prepared next monday as we may be adding some songs in the file.So, for those who always go to band store straight sfter school, why not pack your files immediately so that you can sectionals later on?And remember, always call your section members to help pack files if you are the only one packing it.Remember our motto? ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE.And, the band's playing wasnt that bad as expected today.So, keep up the good work ohkay?
And for those sec ones who are not performing for the 2nd august performance, please do not feel demoralised.We did not put you there as we want to protect the band's sound.This is so that the audience can enjoy our music.Therefore, i want you guys to keep improving and practising on the songs eventhough you are not performing, ohkay?So, dont feel so bad about it.You are still very important in the band as you guys are the future DAMAIWINDZ. :D
I also hope that you guys can come for sectionals more often to practise on the parts that you always make mistakes on.This is so that when you go for band practice, you will find it more enjoyable since everyone has practised before coming for band.So come for more sectionals ohkay?

just to tell you guys some details about the upcoming audition
both the seniors and juniors will be having auditions on next thursday(17thJuly08)
you are required to audition on:
-Majulah Singapura
-Semoga Bahagia
-Made in singapore
-Stand up for singapore
you may have your file with you while auditioning
so, i hope you all will come back next monday for sectionals to practise on those songs
and please take this audition seriously as it will determine which part you will play or not play
and whenever you are practising on your own, practise only on the parts that you are not clear or don't know how to play.
don't practise on parts that you are already so good at.
you are just wasting your time.
and if you have any difficulty in rhythm or anything related to music, please do not be shy to approach me or any of your seniors.
just remember, the more you ask questions, the more intelligent you will be.
and, lastly
good luck to your audition and i hope you guys will put your effort on playing good music
