Hello band! I know this blog is a bit dead so now,
I'm gonna post something so that the blog won't look so dead.
Please be reminded that there will be an audition for the sec1s - sec3s when CCA resumes.
And it will be on the SYF warmups:
1) The 4 Major Scales (Bb, Eb, F, Ab)
2) Minor Scales (1 to 8)
3) Chromatic Scales No.1
4) Arpeggios (1 to 4)
5) Interval Studies (1 to 16)Do remember to practice but do concentrate on your studies too as MYE is around the corner!
When you're feeling stressed after studying for a long period of time,
you could just set up your instrument and practise for a little while.
That could help you to relieve stress and at the same time, practise for your
audition and to get back your embochure.
Isn't that killing 3 birds with one stone?
Haha and also for the sec1s: Remember to memorise your fingerings/positions.
Not knowing your fingerings/positions is not an excuse. (:
You could always approach your seniors for help and I'm sure they will be
more than willing to do so! Right seniors? Haha.
Lastly, to all the band members:
Study hard and good luck for your MYEs!I know band members are smart people. (:
Zoey.
